Facility Facts

The Michael A. Carroll Track and Soccer Stadium was built in 1982 and holds seating for 12,111 patrons. In 2022, the Stadium completed numerous renovations which included the installation of the new FieldTurf Revolution soccer field. The field can accommodate all levels of soccer. This world-class facility hosted the 1987 Pan American Games, a major international event, the 1988 Olympic Team Trials, the 2006 and 2007 USA Track and Field Championships, IHSAA Soccer State Championships, and many other marquee events!

Training Facility

Both the IU Indianapolis men's and women's soccer teams call the stadium home and the stadium is utilized as a training ground by all 14 IU Indianapolis Division I athletics programs. The Stadium is also available for use for a fee to the general public and IU Indianapolis students, faculty and staff.
